If you are looking for a comfortable private holiday home in silent surroundings with a fabulous view overlooking the Aegean Sea, with beautiful unspoiled beaches nearby and lovely villages on a Greek island harbouring splendid secrets for you to discover, and where you can come to rest… you came to the right place. So allow us to show you around.

Seaview from the house

“Angaliá Spíti” is the name of a house built in 2017 on the island of Kythera in Greece, the birthplace of Aphrodite, the ancient goddess of Love, where she was born “from the foam of the sea”. Even today, if you open up your senses, you might feel her presence… The greek word “Angaliá” (Αγκαλιά) means “embrace or hug” and “Spíti” (Σπίτι) means “house or home”, reflecting the sense of safety this wonderful spot has to offer it’s visitors.

Mountainview from the house

The house is well suited for up to 4 people with two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and living area covering a total surface of 87 m2 on a plot of land of 1001 m2 with private parking space and an olive tree garden. The bedrooms and the kitchen/living area are equipped with A/C units for cooling (and heating). The first bedroom has a comfortable double bed (1.8 x 2m) and the second bedroom two single beds (0.9 x 2m).

Sunrise over Paleópoli

The bathroom contains a walk-in shower with a sitting-bench, a wash basin, toilet, towel radiator and a washing machine. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge/freezer, induction cooker, oven, extractor, coffee maker, water cooker, toaster and probably all the kitchen utensils you may need. The living room contains a dining table with four chairs and a living area with a cozy couch, coffee table, television screen (LED) with a separate soundbar/bluetooth speaker, WiFi internet and a charming wood stove.

Outside Terrace

Outside there is a partially shaded terrace of about 50 m2. The spectacular view from here reaches as far as the island of Antikythera and on bright days you can even see the mountains of Crete. The outside staircase at the back side of the house leads to a spatious roof terrace with many sitting benches, offering a great panoramic view, where at night you can look up into the brightness of the stars…
